Mouse Trap
You were the cat, I was the mouse
You searched for me around the house
I tried to run, but you always chased
Lucky for you, I ran out of space
I looked at you and softly smiled
Your eyes were big, they had gone wild
You gave me cheese, I ate it up
I did not realize it was a setup
You were the cat, I was the mouse
I thought I lost you in the house
You came from behind, you lured me in
I waited patiently for my end to begin
You said one thing, I said another
You said one thing, I said another
You made me, yet again, completely surrender
Looked at me, so kind, so tender
Why were you such a good pretender?
